details: $5.50/lb. pasture fed chicken. moved every day on growing green grass (irrigated a small patch of orchard), with organic domestically grown feed from Modesto Milling. Birds likely to average 4.25 lbs. I will also have eggs from mobile chicken coops that are free ranged and moved to new patches of grass every 2 weeks (these birds have much more space on pasture than the meat birds so it takes them longer to use each patch, the meat birds are moved every day). This results in higher egg quality even than most backyard chickens once they are done eating their backyard. These birds are also supplemented strictly with organic domestic chicken feed. The pasture is never sprayed with anything. Eggs are $7.00/dozen. Pay by cash, check, or credit card (VISA, MC, AMEX) 5:30-7:00 pm.
Fresh (never frozen) but vacuum packed in freezer bags, will freeze well.

I will take pre-orders to orders@feltonacres.com and hold chickens for people if they promise to show up without fail or notify me before the pickup. I will sell whatever is left (if any) to people that just show up.
The drop site is between Noe, Diamond Heights and Glen Park neighborhoods in Upper Noe - 95 Zircon Place, off of 29th between Diamond and Castro. It's off a steep (29th) (but mail trucks and such make it fine). Zircon Place is a dead end street with about six houses - mine is the big dark one at the end of the road #95.
