Just about everybody who raises lamb has big pastures and lets them eat the grass that grows freely from the sun. How do we differentiate ourselves? First, we raise hair sheep. Producing wool has been bred into sheep. With the lanolin production comes a flavor that people associate with lamb. Our hair sheep shed their coat every summer like their ancestors, and as a result of this we get 2 very nice features: mild delicious lamb flavor and excellent survival on pasture with minimal supplements and medical wormers. Second, we keep our sheep in electroplastic net fences like the chickens and try to keep them moving around on pasture also.
